She is also a certified Executive Coach of the Hudson Institute of Coaching in Santa Barbara, CA.
Karin is well-grounded in what it takes to drive global strategies into action and results. She has worked with CEOs, BODs and led a global team of over 500 employees. Most recently Ms. Blair was the Vice President of Customer Experience for Life Technologies, responsible for developing and driving a strategy across the corporation to improve the customer experience across all channels and customer touchpoints. Under her leadership, the company realized double digit improvements in its customer experience metric. Ms. Blair previously served as VP Corporate Strategy at Life Technologies, partnering with the CEO and executive team to set the strategic direction for the $4B company. She championed various growth opportunities, including company expansion through acquisition into industrial and diagnostic markets.
In the first half of her career, Ms. Blair was a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. She operated in differing capacities including strategy consulting, financial advisory services and supporting the Chairman’s Office in executing both the merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers and Lybrand, and the globalization strategy for the combined entity.
